We are located in the beautiful Pine Rivers district 45 minutes north of the Brisbane CBD. 90 minutes from the Gold Coast and 45 minutes from the Sunshine Coast. We offer regular open days during which you can come along to visit the farm. Or, book online to organise a private visit. Access to the sanctuary is restricted unless you have made a prior arrangement.
The Sanctuary
Farm Animal Rescue is a place of refuge for animals that have been freed from abuse. Many come from factory farms, some are from the entertainment industry, others from the agriculture sector.

Animals arrive - sometimes battered and bruised, always a little distrusting of humans - and receive the best care from our team of volunteers and veterinarians. The animals at The Sanctuary are all at different stages of recuperation. Some are physically unwell but remain in good spirits, while others are physically well but remain wary of humans. We respect each animal, regardless.

You can meet the residents of The Sanctuary at one of our regular Open Days. We also have Private Tours available on request.
But this isn't your average farm visit. When you meet our residents you'll also hear their stories - tales of hardship and survival. You'll hear about the other animals who remain left behind, those who couldn't be rescued from a life of factory farming.
